Windows XP Restart

Got hit with a nasty bug when my guard (firewall) was
down. Now I have gotten rid of 75 plus DOS attacks and
spyware but my problem is....

When I tell my system to restart... it shuts down.


Any ideas how to fix that?

Unless you're referring to a web site, you were not likely under a Denial
Of Service Attack - DOS -
Spyware likely still remains on your O/S - en masse.

Run HijackThis - cut straight to the chase.
