Hi Phil,

Thanks for the info.

Do you I need to format the hard drive or is it possible to just proceed to the reinstallation (after I've backed up the necessary files on my hard drive).

Hi,

I have been running Windows XP in Italian and I'm currently trying to
reinstall Windows XP in english. I don't want to loose any of my Windows
files or settings, however, when I try to reinstall Windows I receive a
message that states that because my operating system is in another language
I won't be able to upgrade and will have to do a compete instillation. I'm
very concerned that I'm going to lose a lot of files on my computer during
the instillation process. Is there any way I can insure that I don't all my
files during the process? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
