Windows XP Professional password

I cannot now open Windows XP Professional with my usual
password which worked for me several weeks ago.
What shall I do? Periodically the computer has asked me
to change my password which I've done on two separate
occasions with no problem. Now my password suddenly
doesn't work, although I had no problem with it before.
My name appears but, when I enter my password I'm asked
to re-enter the correct password. I've tried every which
way to enter it. Help.

Maybe its case sensitive. Have you tried it like that?
