What gives with all the KB2xxx-and KB8xxx and the Q3xxx
and Q8xxx downloaded files? I seem to have a ton of them
just sitting on my disk eating about half of it. On top of
this I recently discovered K & Q.logs as well UNINST.logs.
What am I to do? I am running on empty here at about 30%?
Also MicroSoft Standard is on my machine 128mb worth yet
when I try to upgrade/update or just run say Wiondows
Sounds it is not recognized?
One more thing. I have a HOTFIX - wm828026 9.59mb. What am
I supposed to do with this?
Please help me? Someone?

Scott;
Those are the updates you have installed from Windows Update and they
should be left installed.
Same for 828026.
However you can safely delete the uninstall files:

The other part is a little confusing.
The fact you have 128mb RAM will not effect sounds.
You may need to go to the website of your sound card/computer
manufacturer and get the latest Windows XP sound driver.

More memory may also be a good idea for unrelated reasons.
256mb or more is really the low end recommended for memory.
