windows xp problems

When i go into run and i type msconfg nothing comes up. i
have tried to put .exe at the end and that doesn't work.
Also i cant do the Ctr Alt Delete function anymore. I need help

These are symptoms of virus infection. Take the infected machine off the
Internet and any lans immediately. Scan with a current antivirus using
updated definitions. If you are having trouble doing this, take the
machine to a good local computer repair shop (not a CompUSA or BestBuy
type of store) and have them clean it up for you.

You have been infected with a virus. Run a virus scan on your
machine using the latest virus definitions from a good AV program that
is up to date.

It is MSConfig - with an i you have left out
