i have got the same problem, need to find it. i cant see it in the BIOS (is
it in the menu when you restart the computer?) or somewhere else...?? ive
looked uin the BIOS (when i restart computer and press F2 but i cant see
'hyperthreading' anywhere.... or is it called something else? please help!

It's a BIOS setting and some vendors choose not to give the end customer
access to said setting.
Since you told us nothing about your hardware - that's about all the advice
you can get.

Sometime a BIOS update will expose the settings - other times it is some
"keystroke" that you have to know about to see it. Most - though - make it
obvious.

Why do you *need* to disable it?
If it is for some program - find a better program. heh
