As a administrator, I can't seem to share my Windows XP
Pro workstations from my computer. I can get into the
network and access a workstation with Windows XP Pro, but
I can only get into the Shared Documents, etc. I try to go
into Program Files or Windows and it says access denied. I
have it shared, not sure what I am doing wrong.

Help please.

Thanks.

My computer is running Windows 2000 Pro and our server is
Windows NT 4.0. I am going in through my network places.

How did you share these ?
When in Simple sharing you are not allowed to share
those through the obvious interface, but if you were in
Simple sharing mode what you experience would make
sense, as the Guest account would need access at the
NTFS level on what is shared.
Sharing Program Files make close to no sense. Most
programs that are installed there also have requirements
that can only be met by running their installation program
on the machine where they are run.
c:\windows is already shared as admin$ in a way only
accessible by administrators. Access to most of what
is within c:\windows also make close to little sense for
a general user and can be problematic to the sharing
machine's health if an administrator accessing using admin$
is not careful what they do.

All that information is nice but does not answer my
question. How do you make everything shared. It is up to
me if I share this files and I am going to share them.

The question is how.

Please don't post anything other then how.

Thanks.
