I have asked in other forums nad been told that I need to update my video

way of info my system specs are as follows.

You're describing the problem that I used to have when I had an nvidia
graphics card in my PC over a year ago. After upgrading to the latest driver
from either the Microsoft website or the card manufacturer my pc would
lockup when playing news video clips. Rolling back the driver would make it
work again. By the time I got rid of the nvidia card there were quite a few
versions of the drivers. Some worked, some didn't . If you have the original
driver disc from MSI, and that caused no problems, I would roll back to that
version. I would then search in google to see if others have the same card
and what driver version has worked for them.
