Windows Xp Pro Installation

Hi,

I have the following problem:
When I try to install Win Xp Pro this happens (both for
upgrade and new option):
Setup goes through the first 3 phazes and reboots.
When rebooting the screen shoes some option and finishes
announcing the Windows is starting, then the screen goes
black, the CD-ROM stops reading and that's it.
What's the problem?

My hardware configuration is:
CPU = Athlon 1200 Mhz
MB = EPOX 8KHA
RAM = 256 Mb DDR
HDD = 20 Gb
Video = NVidia GeForce 4 Ti4200 64 Mb

Reinstall your previous operating system. When booted to its desktop, place
the XP CD in the drive, when the setup screen appears, select "Check System
Compatibility."

There's no way for us to know what the problem is, it could be a multitude
of issues. You likely have some compatibility problem with some of your
hardware. If you would reinstall your previous operating system and run the
compatibility wizard as I previously suggested, it might give a clue as to
the source of the issue.
