Windows XP pro computer wakes up after shutting down

My computer has windows xp pro installed. After the
computer is shut down, and powered off at some time
during the night the computer restarts by itself. What
should I be looking for to correct this problem?

Check your system BIOS settings for "Wake..." settings. For example, Wake
On Ring, Wake On Lan and so on. To enter the screens for BIOS setup, you
need to press a key shortly after powering on. Which key (or keys) need to
be pressed depends on your system. If you do not see "Press <some key> to
Enter Setup" on the screen before Windows starts to load, check your system
manual for directions.
