Is there a way to prevent Windows XP from prompting you
to change your password. I use a password to logon to my
computer, however I do not wish to change it all the time.

Thanks.

Start/Control Panel/User Accounts. Find the account you wish to change &
double-left-click on it. Make your changes. Save it. Exit Control Panel.

I'm assuming you're running Pro. If so, go to Start, Run and enter
GPEDIT.MSC Go to

Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Account
Policies, Password Policy. Set the maximum password age to 0 (never
expires).

For an individual user go to Start, Run and enter LUSRMGR.MSC Open Users,
and the user in question. Check Password never expires.

Neither of the above tools is available in XP Home.
