My windows on my laptop keeps shutting down on it's own. I thought it was a
windows issue and i'm trying to reinstall it but the laptop shuts down in the
middle of the reinstall. Does anyone have any idea on what's going on?

Thanks.

Jess

There might be something in your BIOS settings that's triggerring that power
option mode. Depends on which laptop manufacturer or BIOS version you have
but once you find out check www.google.com for your laptop/BIOS support.

GLuck!

Laptops generate a lot of heat. You may have a hardware issue that the unit
is turning itself off because it is over heating. This is more a hardware
issue that a Windows XP problem. Bring it to a repair center.

Almost certainly a hardware issue, perhaps something overheating. Are
all of the cooling fans working properly, and are all of the airways
clear of dust and other obstructions?
