Windows XP is not functioning well

Hi there, I think my system was hit by a virus or
something and Windows XP the Operating System is not
functioning well. I get this error message about A
runtime or syntax error and if I want to debug?. Then I
get another error message " the verey famous one " about
windows explorer has encounterd a problem and needs to
close. The problem is that I use to click dont send
button and every thing is finshed, but now I can't do
this any more and this error window dose not go and it
stay there. A number I cought 0x800c0008 and it's about
windows explorer error and I have no idea about what does
it mean?. Could anybody tell me waht's happening to my
system?.
 
Re-install your system and don't bother with other solutions. Do not forget to have your important stuff backed-up or create a new partition separated to the OS-partitio, in order to format c:\ ane reinstall everything from the beginning...

Regarding your post below, do you have Antivirus installed and up to date
and has it been run?

If the answer is yes and this hasn't resolved the issue, since this problem
may have just started recently you might try rolling back your system to a
state prior to when the symptom started using System Restore:

If this does not help there may be a conflict between core OS modules and
other installed software. The best approach for this is Clean Boot

If System Restore and/or Clean Boot Troubleshooting does not resolve this
issue, you might consider an In-place upgrade type of repair to Windows XP:
