Windows XP intermittently locks up during wireless session

I can't seem to figure out the logic but every once and a
while Windows XP locks up completely when I am using my
wireless card. I have tried different ones and it
doesn't seem to fix it.

Does anyone know what Windows is waiting on that causes
the disruptive behavior.

EMFs ..... Electromagnetic frequencies. I was once on a contract at a
business next to a large international airport. At around and approx. 1500
hrs. the CEO's wireless mouse would go wacky ..... After much deliberation
and a considerable amount of time trying to duplicate the issue, we took a
spectrometer through the office. It appeared that because of these large
bronze Remington statues just about everywhere in the office, and the fact
that the FAA was "spinning up" their equipment for scheduled testing and
diagnostics, it was clear that the twilight zone had descended upon this
little corner of an empire.

He has since hardwired everything, and even got rid of the S/W radio on his
desk.

Hey there I had the exact same problem just in the last couple of day. I
would be online they suddenly a minute or two later the whole computer
would lockup and nothing would unlock it apart from a reset.
I ran numerous scans for all sorts of thing but nothing seemed to work.
So eventually I even tried and re formatted my system and tried a fresh
start, but much to my anoyance it still locked up.
So then I was looking at the properties for my USB wireless adaptor and
noticed that I could change the frequency that it was
transmitting/recieving on. Changed it to the other end of the scale and
so far so good it has not locked up once. so try that and let me know my
mail if that worked for you.::)
