I have a laptop with an inoperable CD Drive, if I
download the Windows XP bootable floppies will this give
me drivers for a USB CD/DVD drive or is there a way that
I can download XP onto floppies to install?

You'll have to open the computer's BIOS and see if it supports
booting from a USB drive. If it offers no such option, then
your only course of action is to replace the defective internal
CD Drive.

Note: It would take over 335 floppy disks to copy Windows XP
to floppies, which, of course, is not feasible.
