I'm trying to install a machine with Windows XP on a network that has only
Windows 98 machines using IPX?SPX.
I've been trying to configure de XP, using NWLINK IPX/SPX/NET BIOS protocol
form XP, but it doesn't work, it never see or is seen by the other machines!
What I'm I missing?

Thanks for the help!
Pls send me the answeer to (e-mail address removed), if possible.

By "seeing" I'm guessing that you mean Network Neighborhood display entries?
Network Neighborhood depends upon the browser. The browser is part of Windows
Networking, and uses NetBIOS datagrams.

Steve Winograd, writing in PracticallyNetworked, explains how to setup IPX/SPX
in Windows Networking.

If you have both Windows 98, and Windows XP, you may have to deal with the
browser conflict issue too.

You can unbind/uninstall TCP/IP protocol or reorder protocols in Network
Connections menu Advanced/Advanced Settings... Move IPX/SPX protocol up the
list.
