Windows XP ICS

I have two machines, one is a laptop running Win XP Pro
the other is a Home PC running Win XP Home.
I have them setup on a wireless network, they work great,
but i can't get ICS to work.
The machine can talk to each other via the wireless
network, the internet connection shows up on the laptop
as a connection but IE will not talk to the ICS any help
would be much appreciated
 
You need to tell laptop where to get internet from.
on your laptop In the network connections window, click
properties of the wireless adapter that you're
using.click TCP/IP properties,and change the default
gateway to the address of your main pc, usually
192.168.0.1

What wireless cards are you using, if it is belkin then
they have good customer support I had a similar problem
with two PC's. I know you have to make sure there is no
firewall set up and you may even have to remove the virus
software then re-install the cards. I then re-installed
the virus software and it all works ok.
