One of my friend drop his PC (Windows XP, Home Edition)with me.
He is away and can not be reached.
He said he he had soem problem with it and ask me if I could look into.
I don't know the username and password.
Can you halp?
Is there any way I could get into the PC and fix the problems, if any.
So far I have tried MS Windows 2000/NT or 98.
Thanks,

Based on what you said, I would suggest not attempting to
repair your friends computer. When your friend returns, tell
him to take his PC to a reputable PC repair shop. You cannot
do anything until the user name and password are known.

Hi Tom,

Boot to Safe mode, log on as administrator. Fix the problems.

Are you looking for work?.. :) .. if it was your computer, would you entrust
repairs to somebody who ".. tried MS Windows 2000/NT or 98" already?..
Carey's advice, while not directly addressing the problem, was probably more
prudent in this case.. :)
