Windows XP HE was getting stuck at the start up page and rebooting intself in a continuous loop (Safe Mode, and last known good not working). I have been trying to repair the installation with the XP CD. This started OK, but then I got a message saying it couldn't find the SISAGP.SYS and something like Silicon Integrated Systems Installation disk (AGD) is needed. I ignored this because it means nothing to me and the installation continued. Now the repair has stalled with an error message that says 'the procedure entry point get IUMS could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL' and I have no idea what to do now. The only option seemed to be to click OK which I did and nothing seemed to happen

Any thoughts or help gratefully appreciated! Thanks

You are missing a driver for your video card (or onboard video).
Do a google search for the file. Most likely, you will find a full set of
drivers available for download.
Use the closest match to your actual card or mobo.

Probably you have bad RAM. Test your RAM with something like Memtest86
from www.memtest86.com. If you are uncomfortable testing hardware, take
the machine to a good local computer repair shop (not a BestBuy or
CompUSA type of store).

Good luck,

Malke
