Windows XP Home will not install SP2

I have tried installinjg SP2 on my Windows XP Home edition
computer and it will not install. It aborts after
decompressing the files and logs an error 80070003 in teh
installation logs.

Anyone have any ideas how to rectify this?

Did you turn off your virus checker, spy sweeper, firewall, all peripherals,
etc and not be online (if highspeed connection) before the attempt?
