How do I uninstall Windows XP Home Version.

Simplistic question, incomplete information provided.

How you uninstall (or at least the options available to you) greatly depends
on several factors.
(How you installed originally, what file system you are now, what type of
installation media you have, your skill level, etc.)

The only sure answer with the information you gave is, "To uninstall Windows
XP (Home or Professional), you can boot from the original install CD, follow
through the steps like you were installing a copy of Windows XP again and
when it asks which partition to install on, DELETE the partitions. Stop
there, reboot with whatever installation medium you need to that will
install the OS you want. Notice that if you have an OEM copy of Windows XP
Home, it is still "legally" tied to the computer you just removed it from."

(That's a sure answer because I do not know how you got Windows XP Home on
your machine in the first place.)

I suppose you could go look at this article Microsoft put out. It could
have been found through a Google search and/or Microsoft web page search for
"Uninstall Windows XP".

Greetings --

The normal way to "uninstall" _any_ operating system is to format
the hard drive and install a new OS of your choice.

However, if you performed an upgrade from Win98/Me, elected to
backup the old system files, and didn't convert the partition to NTFS,
then all you need do is boot into Safe Mode and Start > Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs. All of these conditions _must_ be met for the
uninstall option to be available.
