The subjected printer is supposed to be compatible with
Windows XP Home version. I paid $150 for the upgraded
version of Windows XP Home version when I bought my Dell
computer. But my printer would not work with this version.
So, I called Hewlett Packard and for over an hour we tried
every driver they had and my printer still wouldn't work.
I have since reinstalled the ME version of Windows so I
could use my printer. Hewlett Packard told me to contact
you and see why the upgraded version of Windows XP Home
version will not run my printer? Please advise.

If you installed a Windows XP upgrade, did you do a clean install (format
the drive, and then install Windows XP)? Sometimes a clean install is the
only way out.

Also, I looked at the drivers available at the HP site, and there was more
than one model of the
HP Business Inkjet 2200

Did you try all of them? Also, if the Windows XP drivers don't work, try
the Windows 2000 drivers. If however you did try all of above drivers, then
perhaps a clean install of Windows XP is the solution.
