Windows XP Home, Simple Logon and file access?

Is it possible to have the WIndows XP simple logon (with the pictures
corresponding to about five people) with a password?
Also, I don't want each person to be able to access others' files.

Is that possible with Home?

Certainly. Have each user (or you) go to the User Accounts applet in
Control Panel and set a password for their accounts. Then each user
should make their My Documents private.
