Here is my delima! I had to do a clean reinstall of Windows XP Home from my
recovery CD, first of all, I have a wireless laptop, when I tried to
reinstall XP I get messages of system root files are missing and seems the
only way to restore them is to copy them to a floppy but my laptop does not
have a floppy drive. But this isnt the worse problem, not only can I not get
past the reinstall section, but my laptop shuts off in the middle of the
reinstall of XP everytime I try to complete it. I got info from the internet
(which by the way may not have been good info) to delete the partition the
original XP was on, which I did! So please walk me through this using simple
instructions as I am NOT a computer tech. I would appreciate anyones
assistance!!!!!
