I've installed, originating from the same disc, windows xp home on 2
partitions. After I installed the second one, I couldn't choose which
operating system to load. Is there any way I can get that screen to appear,
and so I can load windows on either the c or d drive? Or do you have to have
2 different operating systems (ex: windows xp and windows 98)?

Hi, Why would you have 2 copies of the one O/S on your machine?????
If you have done it so that one is for your everyday stuff and the other for
games all you have to do is install the O/S once and setup an extra account
eg; Games .
This enables you to when you boot into windows pick one or the other
depending on what you want to do.

Hi,

Boot the WinXP CD, load the Recovery Console when initially prompted to hit
'r' to repair the system. Logon to the initial installation using the admin
password. From the prompt, run bootcfg /add, this should detect the second
installation and add it to the boot menu. Remove the CD and restart when
finished.
