Dear All,

I would like to get your help for an issue. I purchased windows XP home
addition just 2 months back. Now I want to upgrade it to Windows XP
professional.

1) Is there any way that Microsoft will upgrade it with difference in cost?
2) Can we sell a product back to Microsoft?

Please guide me for above mentioned issue.

Microsoft didn't sell it to you - I doubt the store/reseller who sold it to
you will take it back or give you much in the way of a refund, but you can
buy an upgrade version of Windows XP Pro, for less than the retail cost of
XP Pro.

Hmmm. I see you are in the U.A.E., so I don't know what the situation is
there, but I would suggest you look for the Windows XP Professional Academic
Upgrade Edition. This is much cheaper than the retail upgrade. I am assuming
you have children who will be using the computer.
Also you are not meant to use the Academic Upgrade Edition for business
purposes.

You will need your Windows XP home edition disc when installing from the
upgrade disc.
