Hi,

My computer Win XP Home keeps restarting. While starting
up windows reaches the blue home loading screen, then
shuts down and keeps restarting. The same thing happens
when I try to start in safe mode with or without network
services. Everytime it reaches the blue loading screen
tit shuts down and re boots. AANY HELP WOULD BE
APPREICATED.

Thank You
Charles

If you can boot to Safe Mode, check Event Viewer for information about
the startup errors. If not very informative, you could disable automatic
restart on errors in System properties> Advanced> Error Reporting. This
will not make the error go away but you will likely get a blue screen
error message that yields a clue about the startup problem.

May also want to use MSCONFIG to temporarily disable startup programs
and/or non-MS services. Give special notice to items recently added to
these lists. If Windows starts successfully in normal mode with these
items disabled, it is a simple but tedious process of elimination to
find which disabled item is causing the trouble.
