Windows XP Home Edition

Windows XP Home Edition restarts when a user account is selected from the
logon screen. There are four user account name on the logon screen. After a
user account is selected, the computer reboots. It does this for each
account. I re-installed XP to fix any corrupted files, but this didn't fix
the problems. Any ideas on how to correct is problem?

Since you've already reinstalled, you've wiped out the possibility of the
"Last known good configuration" option and trying to run System Restore from
Safe Mode. The next thing to try is to treat this issue as though the user
accounts are corrupted, please check the following Knowledge Base Articles:
