I built a pc and installed xp home edition from an
Enpower oem CD that I purchased from PC Club. I can't
get a proper reinstall for missing files and the
reinstall hangs up. What can I do? HELP

Gary;
Clean the CD and drive.
Reseat/replace the memory
Reseat/replace the drive IDE cable
Replace the drive.

Unless your computer system matches the brand on your OEM CD (Enpower?),
your only good solution is to go out and buy a Retail copy of WinXP Home!

OEM versions are almost always "customized" by the mfr of the system to work
PROPERLY only with their brand of hardware (and in some cases they are
locked to the actual model number of the computer). Thus, the OEM copy you
have may well not have the drivers you need on it and is resulting in the
problems you report.
