Hello...

One of my clients has a laptop with Windows XP Home and a wireless G
adapter. For some reason, the laptop decided to stop routing to the
Internet. My client can not associate to a wireless access point, and
therefore, he is unable to access the web.

Any ideas?

Had the same problem. Turned out to be a corrupt
winsock2. McAfee had messed it up. Uninstalling Mcafee
fixed it. There is a post just above this one, "Renewing
IP Address failed" that discusses this in detail. Check
IPConfig and see if the DHCP server is working (assigning
IP's from the router). This is a clue.
