Is it possible to install Windows 7 without removing my XP ?
I want to test Win7 but in a way so my current XP config stays.

So what to do ?
Can I install win7 on a different harddrive than win xp and choose wich win
to boot at startup?
Or do I need to instal some kind of virtual PC software?

Hope someone can help

Kind Regards

Hello Nicoline:

Perhaps the least complicated and safest way /is/ to install W7 on
another hard disk drive. Taking on virtualization and a new OS might be
a bit much although virtualization would also work OK.

You probably wish to go with a dual boot arrangement. A modification to
the Boot.ini file with a text editor is all that's needed.

When you get that far, google dual boot Boot.ini XP W7
