Windows XP Home and Pro network problem

I have two XP computers, one Home and one Pro. For the last couple of month,
my Pro computer can see and use the shares on the Home computer but not the
other way around. A couple of days ago, when I was adding a printer (using a
printer resided on the Home computer) on the Pro computer, the adding printer
process didn't complete (became non responsive) and since then, my Pro
computer cannot use the shares on the Home computer any more. However, my
Home computer can start using the shares on the Pro computer now.

I checked the www.careyholtzman.com/net1.htm and learned a few things like I
didn't have the SP2 (Thanks Carey) but still the same problem. I used
Browstat to check the browser. I didn't matter which computer I made as a
master browser, the problem is the same. One thing I did notice was that the
computer which is not the master browser when I ran the 'browstat status', I
will get the following error "Could not open key in registry, error =5
Unable to determine build of browser master: 5" but it would list the correct
master browser machine. Any suggestion on further troubleshooting?

Thanks

I played around a little bit more and found out that when the "Pro" machine
did a "Net View Home" to look at the share drives on Home machine, a TCP
connection to port 445 and a connection to port 139 were accepted by the home
machine right away however the connections would stayed active for about 25
seconds then would get closed. Eventually on the Pro side, the Net View
would time out after another 2 mins with the error (System error 64 has
occurred. The specified network name is no longer available). What was the
Home machine thinking so hard for 25 seconds then closed the connection? And
why did the Pro machine wait for another 2 mins before giving the error
message? What should I look for next to troubleshooting this problem? Any
suggestions are greatly appreciated

Thanks
