Windows XP freezes

I have been using Windows XP for more than a year without
any problems. Since a few weeks the system frequently
freezes (mouse doesn't work, ctrl-alt-del doesn't work)
and I have to reset the system with the powerbutton. The
behaviour is random (sometimes after hours, sometimes
after minutes or even during a reboot). In the logbook
there are errors referring to 'true vector' problems. Any
suggestions how I can further analyse the problem?

P.s. I have a virusscanner installed and have checked the
whole disk over and over again.

Best Regards

Remove and reinstall Zone Alarm. (If you don't have the last
version, you may get away with upgrading.)
