Bob

It's a Thai Font Script.
I just opened Wordpad and selected it from the Font dropdown menu.
But if you only want to find where it is on your XP, it should be in
C:\Windows\Fonts

Hi Bob,

I don't have that font on my system. But most likely it would be in
c:\windows\fonts. Try a search for *.ttf and see what you come up with
(hidden files and folders must be visible). There are other font types
also, so it might be another type of font other than True Type.

I don't have the font on my system, US English. No luck with google, the
ms update page is written in THAI so didn't help me. It was used in a
customer file, I will let them supply the font or a pdf.

Thanks.

Hi Bob. I've never tried this, but it might help.

Too often, when viewing questions in this newsgroup, I get a popup like:

---
To display language characters correctly you need to install the following
language pack:
Chinese Simplified

with buttons for Install and Cancel.
---

It seems to me that maybe you could browse to a web site that uses this font
and have a similar process install it for you.

Hopefully someone will chime in with definite knowledge on the subject.

A) Do not pay any attention to the top posting twit "Unknown".
he hasn't a got clue what he is talking about.

B) AngsanalUPC font is only functional in XP with SP2.
Use this MS validator tool to check the font, if corrupt or missing
the tool will alert you:
http://www.microsoft.com/typography/FontValidator.mspx
If so, then follow links, register and download the font.

C) Once you have downloaded the font, follow this guide to re-install
in XP:
http://www.microsoft.com/typography/TrueTypeInstallXP.mspx

I have no idea why you're so insulting. Who are you trying to impress? All I
am trying to relay is that you get different search results when searching
for angsanaUPC as opposed to angsana font. The search argument can make a
big difference in what you find. You don't understand that?

Well, I got as far as registering, then it says you have to apply for
membership in a members only area (font validator community), still
waiting on a reply from there. Is this thing for real ???
