So my Windows XP home edition crashed on me, which was very upsetting seeing
as how the last five years of my life were on there. However, I realized it
was an unmountable boot volume error, which is usually easily fixed. So I
followed the necessary procedure to do so, and upon surpassing that error I
was resented with a new one, one which Microsoft doesn't even list as being
an error. So, now met with my real life demon I took several attempts at
resolving the situation in recovery console to no avail. SO I went out and
bought a converter so I could hook up the hard drive as an external to my
laptop. And while my original thinking was just to transfer all the files
over, I got to thinking, perhaps I can some how just repair the windows files
via my laptop, since I have access to them, any suggestions on how to go
about this would be wonderful. Thanks for all help.
