In windows xp it looks at all files, and files that are
zip up (using winzip). Is there a way I can disable this
option?

Thanks

Answered in the basics group. Please do not multi-post - if you must
cross-post, do so to two or three groups *at the most* and place the names
in the newsgroup field.

Thank you.

**** you amethyst aka perdita! Who the hell do you think you are? You ain't
nothin' but a scuzbucket. Probably into bestiality too, your brain functions
are so like the lower animals, they're the only things that let you near
them...and you probably have to do that by catching them in a snare first!

If you have winzip, you can disable the inbuilt handling of zip files as
if they were folders - Start - Run the line

regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll
