hello.

Windows Explorer shows file siz in KB. Is it possible to change that to MB
or GB?

There is no need to change the unit. Explorer > View > Status Bar.
The status bar displays the file size in Bytes, KB, MB etc.
 
That is nice, but I use the Deatils view so I see a list of files/folders
I would like to the sizes appear in Mb/GB in the list - it is a little
easier to read.
I am hoping there is a registry hack or something..

Not really, regarding smaller files as well.
