Hi,

Hope someone can help.

I installed Service pack 2 and as it came to the "finalising installation" I
got two errors about files not being found (dont remember which) and the
install completed.

Upon reboot I get past the Windows XP boot screen, did play changes to a
blank screen and at the point that the display normally switches to windows
the PC resets.

Any suggestions appart from trying a repair installation or formatting?

Thanks in advance

0xc000021a STOP error, where the ntoskrnl.exe or ntdll.dll files were not
replaced, Boot to Recovery Console, check version, date and time of
ntoskrnl.exe and ntdll.dll. expand them from the SP2 install source,
available in %windir%\servicepackfiles folder

Boot to cd, and recovery console to access them.
