Windows XP Explorer History

Under Documents and Settings/UsersName/Local Settings/History
can I change the number of days history stored in this folder to zero.

Zero works fine. Negative numbers are not permitted.

P.S. The websites you visit /today/ don't become History until /tomorrow/.
 
Thanks Leonard for the reply, but where do I set this value to Zero,
mindful that this is a history setting for Windows activities, rather than
Internet Explorer.

The only place where History is setup is in Internet Explorer.

Did you mention which version of Internet Explorer you have? Here are
instructions for IE 7:

Control Panel > Internet Options > Browsing History - Settings button >
History section.
