Hello,

Does Windows XP store somewhere the error messages it shows when an error
occurs?
I am trying to create a database of all Windows (ms applications) error
messages and their solutions.

Thank you

Just to let you know, you may well be embarking on the largest project in
the history of humankind.

Having said that, the Event Viewer tool in Computer Management would be a
good place to begin your search.

Good luck. In this particular case, you're very much going to need it.

Hello and thanx to both of you.

Yup, i am aware of event viewers and many sites that display ms product
errors and solutions but, you know, I am thinking about something in specific.

When a ms product face a problem, it directly shows an error message so
logically those error messages are most probably already stored somewhere in
that product.
Unless, I am somehow fantasizing or living in the 4th millenium! (smiles)

What do you think.

Thanx again,
