Windows XP -Error Copying Documents

Hello,I Am having problems copying my documents folder to cd or directly from explorer,dragging my documents from c:\documents and settings\?user\my documents,when I Drag the my documents folder,I Get the following error: Error Copying File or folder [Cannot copy file] the documents folder has about 1.60GB But I Wouldn't think it would matter if I Want to copy to mY 2nd Drive D: Can anyone tell me how to fix this
 
A standard CD has a maximum capacity of 650MB.

Yes I Know that, doesn't matter how I Try Copying or
moving my documents folder,I Can't even copy my documents
folder to my 2nd hard drive D: While I Can copy other
folders,favorites folder for example copyies fine to my
D: Drive, why am I Unable to copy my documents to D: Drive

What happens if you create a folder on D: and then copy the *contents
only* of My Documents to it?
