What can I do if windows just suddenly stops to boot up? and there'
an error message that says" this... file is missing or corrupt t
repair this file press r...? are there any other ways to repai
besides reinstalling it? :twisted

Depends on the message. Get the exact quote, then search Google &
Google Groups, and you will probably find an answer.

Are you getting the following message?

Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or
corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

How much I hate to see this message!

It could be a registry error or something is corrupt.

This link should help, although i tried using it several times it didnt work
really well maybe because my computer was outdated. But good luck.
