windows XP control panel

had a virus, finally killed it. Now I don't have control panel and a
few other trivia. Anybody know how I restore that? Oh yeah, my system
restore wont let me restore to prior restore point.

Since you most likely lost file, I'd do a SFC scan

If you don't have a XP SP2 CD and any missing files are needed you
will need to slipstream XP and SP2
