windows xp constantly waking up from sleep/hibernate mode

Please send me an email as I am having this same
problem. Also, my hp won't shut down or restart either.
If someone helped you on this problem please let me

Sorry, no email support unless you want to pay me. That said, check and
see that all Wake Up Events are disabled in the BIOS. Also, if you have
a wireless mouse and/or keyboard, I've heard that these devices send
signals which will wake a machine from sleep/hibernation. If you're
still not getting anywhere, then call HP tech support since your
machine is still under warranty. As far as the second poster's
problems, he doesn't provide enough information to get any help so
should just go to Microsoft's support site and go through the shutdown
troubleshooter.
