The hard drive, 30GB, on my laptop recently fried (oddly after only a
year of, I thought, well-maintained use) and I bought a new Seagate
100GB - 5400 RPM, 8MB Cache. Not sure exactly what the problem is, but
the hard drive is in and working and I clean installed Windows XP and
now all scrolling has taken a nose dive. Thus far I've noticed that
scrolling pages in IE and Explorer, and moving most application windows
occurs incredibly choppily. I've got 256 MB of RAM and a 2.66GHz
Pentium Processor. I'm a little lost here. Maybe need new RAM?
Thanks in advance.
