I am trying to run some older cd rom software (DK Human
Body 2.0 & DK Learning for Win 95/98) on XP Pro.
It wont run or run correctly.
I have read that most software will run on XP
in "backwards compatibility mode".
Can someone please explain how to do this or am i pushing
the proverbial up the hill?
Thanks
Greg.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - Program compatibility wizard.

Browse manually to the program concerned (initially the Setup or Install
on the CD), then tell it to run in compatibility for (I suggest) Windows
98.

Once installed; find the program in the Start Menu submenu where it has
been put, r-click - Properties, Compatibility page and again select to
run as from Win 98.
