Windows XP Automatic Update and networking

Following the April 4 and 5, 2007 updates, we lost the use of our peer to
peer network. Firewall, sharing and permissions look okay. What did the
update change that is causing us trouble?

You might try to restore from a system restore point made prior to the
updates. Once you do that you can add the updates back one by one to see
which one caused the problem.
