The reinstall suggestion did not work. Does anyone have
any other suggestions to why the spell check in outlook
express 6 does not work when using windows XP.

Thanks

In order to use Spell Check in Outlook Express, one must install either
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, or Microsoft Office. These software
programs are available for purchase at your favorite store that sells computer
software programs.

If you have one of the aforementioned programs installed,
then visit the following website for assistance:

I have been giving this same response to the same question at roughly the
same time, once every month. As Amethyst said, nobody bothers anymore to
use the [Find] utility (top Rt. corner) to check past news messages posted
here.

If you look closely at Linda's post, you'll see she's using the CDO
(web interface) to access this group. She'll be lucky to find your
answer, let alone do a search for previous posts. Just be patient
with people. If you're tired of giving the same response, then don't
respond.

Thanks, CS. I guess I was quite fed up.
