Windows XP and LIM EMS memory

Some of the documentation that I have read indicates that
Windows XP does not natively support LIM Expanded memory.

I am looking for someone who can confirm this is
absolutely true and that there is no way to get XP
configured so that a program that uses EMS, i.e., Lotus 1-
2-3, will be able to utilize expanded memory.

If it is not true, has anyone successfully configured XP
so that it will provide EMS to a DOS application like
Lotus?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Pat:

I just select Properties for the old XTree v2.5 DOS utility via XP Pro:
It has settings for:
Conventional memory
Expanded (EMS) memory
Extended (XMS) memory
