I setup Windows XP on my new computer (bought 6/4/04),
and have been using it OK since then. However, I've
noticed in the printed material that came with the
computer, that, if I hadn't already done so during setup,
I have 30 days to "activate" Windows XP, with a warning
that failure to activate will render Windows XP
inoperative.
I don't remember going through any activation process
during setup, and there is no "Activation" item on my
Start menu (which the printed material says should be
there). So, how do I tell if my Windows XP has been
activated, and if it hasn't, how do I do so?
